The public site
The public pages set no cookies, run no analytics, carry no advertising or tracking pixels, and embed nothing served by a third party. Fonts and footage are served from this domain. Reading the site writes nothing to your browser.
The consequence is that we cannot tell who visits, how often, or what they read. We consider that a reasonable price for a desk whose clients would rather not be counted.
When you sign in
Signing in to your account keeps your sign-in session in your browser’s local storage, so that you are not signed out on every page. It holds your session and nothing else, it is written only when you sign in, and signing out removes it.
When you settle the retainer
The retainer is settled by bank transfer against a pro-forma invoice, which involves nothing in your browser. Where card payment is offered, it is taken on a secure page hosted by Stripe; that page is Stripe’s, not ours, and its own cookie notice applies there. Nothing from Stripe is loaded on our pages.
